Our American Airlines first class flight out of Narita International Airport was scheduled to leave in the evening. Evening was still several hours away so we decided to tour three oneworld first class lounges for entertainment. Cathay Pacific First and Business Class Lounge was our first stop.

The Cathay Pacific First and Business Class Lounge is located on the fourth floor in the main building.  Access to the lounge is via an elevator on the third floor in the main building.

The check in desk staff helpfully warned that the lounge did not make flight announcements for American flights so it was up to us to keep track of time.

Upon entering the lounge and walking through the hallway, the food station is directly in front.

Our initial impression was positive as the lounge was not too crowded (it did start to fill up more as we were leaving though).

Seating can be found on both the left and right side.

We went right so we could use the business center and noticed the right side was more crowded.

The business center had eight desktop computers with reeeeally slow internet.  The free wi-fi was much faster (no password required).

We preferred the left side of the lounge as it offered more seating and more privacy.

The seats against the wall were our favorite.  They were the most private and had plenty of power outlets to charge devices.

Food selection was decent.

We did notice though that items were not quickly replenished- the crowd wasn’t big but it was hungry.

Sushi, finger sandwiches and packaged items were available. There was even a mini-freezer with ice cream.

Beverage selection was also pretty good.  The self-serve beverage station had a variety of choices, including alcoholic drinks.

Overall, we found the Cathay Pacific First and Business Class Lounge to be a fairly nice lounge with a decent selection of food/beverages.  We lucked out that it wasn’t crazy busy during our stay but the small crowd did make a pretty good dent in the food.
